Be Going to
از ساختار be going to + base verb در دو حالت استفاده می کنیم:
۱)برای صحبت درباره برنامه ها و قصد های آینده
وقتی از قبل تصمیم گرفته ایم کاری را در آینده انجام دهیم از be going to استفاده می کنیم.
She's been saving her money for a year. She's going to buy a car.
یک ساله دارد پولش را جمع می کند. می خواهد یک ماشین بخرد.
We're going to visit my grandparents this weekend.
آخر هفته قراره برویم خانه مادربزرگ و پدربزرگم.
۲)برای پیش بینی آینده
وقتی پیش بینی می کنیم که قراره در آینده اتفاقی بیافته، خصوصا وقتی برای پیش بینی مان نشانه ای در حال حاضر وجود دارد، از این ساختار استفاده می کنیم.
Look at those dark clouds. It's going to rain.
آن ابرهای تیره را ببین. قراره بارون بیاید.
He drives dangerously and too fast. I think he's going to have an accident soon.
خیلی خطرناک و تند رانندگی می کند. فکر می کنم به زودی تصادف خواهد کرد.
همانطور که در مثال های بالا می بینیم، بعد از be going to باید از شکل ساده فعل استفاده کنیم.
برای پیش بینی آینده، می توانیم از will + base verb هم استفاده کنیم.
I think prices will go up next year.
(= I think prices are going to go up next year.)
فکر می کنم قیمتها سال آینده بالا خواهد رفت.
She will be a great teacher one day.
(= She's going to be a great teacher one day.)
او یک روز معلم فوق العاده ای خواهد شد.
وقتی از این ساختار استفاده می کنیم are / is / am نقش فعل کمکی (auxiliary) را بازی می کنند و برای منفی و سوالی کردن جمله از آنها استفاده می کنیم.
What are you going to do after you graduate from college?
بعد از اینکه از دانشگاه فارغ التحصیل شدی، خیال داری چه کار کنی؟
He isn't going to pass the exam. He hasn't studied at all.
او اصلا درس نخوانده. احتمالا امتحان را قبول نمی شود.
