Somebody, Anything, Nowhere ...
در زبان انگلیسی از کلماتی مانند someone (یک نفر / یکی)، something (یک چیزی)، somewhere (یک جایی)، استفاده می کنیم تا درباره یک شخص، یک چیز یا یک مکان صحبت کنیم بدون اینکه مشخص کنیم دقیقا داریم راجع به کی، چی یا کجا صحبت می کنیم.
Somebody / Someone - Anybody / Anyone - Nobody / No one
هنگامی که داریم راجع به یک انسان صحبت می کنیم، می توانیم از واژه های بالا استفاده کنیم.
در جملات مثبت از somebody یا someone استفاده می کنیم.
I spoke to somebody / someone in their department.
با یک نفر در دپارتمان آنها صحبت کردم.
We saw somebody / someone at the door.
یک نفر را دم در دیدیم.
در جملات منفی و سوالی از anyone یا anybody استفاده می کنیم.
I didn't speak to anybody / anyone in their department.
با کسی / هیچ کس در دپارتمان آنها صحبت نکردم.
Did you see anybody / anyone at the door?
کسی را دم در دیدی؟
برای ساختن جملات منفی همچنین می توانیم از no one یا nobody به همراه یک فعل مثبت استفاده کنیم.
I spoke to nobody / no one in their department. (= I didn't speak to anybody in their department.)
با هیچ کس در دپارتمان آنها صحبت نکردم.
We saw nobody / no one. (= We didn't see anyone.)
هیچ کس را ندیدیم.
Something - Anything - Nothing
هنگامی که داریم راجع به یک چیز صحبت می کنیم، می توانیم از واژه های بالا استفاده کنیم.
در جملات مثبت از something استفاده می کنیم.
I've bought something for you.
یک چیزی برات خریده ام.
She said something interesting.
(یک) حرف جالبی زد.
در جملات منفی و سوالی از anything استفاده می کنیم.
I haven't bought anything.
چیزی / هیچی نخریده ام.
Didn't she say anything about her plans?
چیزی راجع به برنامههاش نگفت؟
برای ساختن جملات منفی همچنین می توانیم از nothing به همراه یک فعل مثبت استفاده کنیم.
I've bought nothing. (= I haven't bought anything.)
هیچی نخریدهام.
She said nothing. (= She didn't say anything.)
هیچ چی نگفت.
Somewhere - Anywhere - Nowhere
هنگامی که داریم راجع به یک مکان صحبت می کنیم می توانیم از کلمه های بالا استفاده کنیم.
در جملات مثبت از somewhere استفاده می کنیم.
Let's go somewhere nice this weekend.
بیا این آخر هفته برویم یک جای باحال.
I left my keys somewhere in the kitchen
کلیدهام رو یک جایی تو آشپزخانه جا گذاشته ام.
در جملات منفی و سوالی از anywhere استفاده می کنیم.
There wasn't anywhere to sit in the café.
تو کافه (هیچ) جایی برای نشستن نبود.
Did you go anywhere after the party?
بعد از مهمانی جایی رفتید؟
برای ساختن جملات منفی همچنین می توانیم از nowhere به همراه یک فعل مثبت استفاده کنیم.
There was nowhereto sit in the café. (= There wasn't anywhere to sit in the café.)
تو کافه هیچجایی برای نشستن نبود.
We went nowhereexciting during the trip. (= We didn't go anywhere exciting during the trip.)
هیچجای جالبی در طول سفر نرفتیم.
